Meetings
The Lord's Table Meeting
In the Lord’s table meeting, or the bread-breaking meeting (1 Cor. 10:14-22; 11:17-34) of the local church, the believers gather to participate in the fellowship of the Lord’s blood and body for their enjoyment (1 Cor. 10:16-17) and to remember the Lord for His enjoyment (1 Cor. 11:24-25). We encourage all to come early and pray with one another for His blessings and leading before each meeting.

Prayer Meetings

The prayer meetings of the local churches are crucial for the carrying out of God’s will on this earth. Both Watchman Nee and Witness Lee realized the importance of the prayer meetings in the local church and labored to build them up for the carrying out of God’s move across the earth.

Young People's Meeting

Every church must go to the young people. In any field the future is with the young people. If an industry or a school does not gain young people, that industry or school has no future. This generation is the generation of young people. However, this does not mean that we do not appreciate the older ones. I realize that more and more the going on of the Lord in His recovery will be with the young people.

Childrens Meeting

During a general discussion on meetings, Watchman Nee brings up the particular need of the children’s meeting in the local churches along with some practical advice on the way to work out this need:The children’s meeting is also needed. This is also a meeting of the local church in the aspect of the work.We have children’s meetings in various localities. This requires that a few brothers and sisters specifically come forth to do this work. Sisters are perhaps more appropriate. I do not know what materials they are now using in various localities.
